Introducing Boston Skyline Invitations

6/1/11

Sorry for the post hiatus - it was a holiday weekend, so I took a few days to relax with family and friends, work on some home projects and completely avoid blogging.

However, I did get some bid-ness stuff accomplished over the break, and I'm totally, completely, utterly excited to FINALLY introduce the Boston Skyline Invitations to y'all!

These amazing invitations belong to Courtney, who found me through our mutual wedding photographer, Lisa Rigby. When Courtney mentioned she was hosting a chic, modern, downtown affair I begged asked her if she would be interested in doing a skyline theme.

For months I've been sitting on this skyline design, just waiting for the right bride to come along. You got a sneak peek on my site & blog design - but the invitation package is the whole enchilada. Courtney also wanted to incorporate damask in the suite, so we mixed in some fun printed envelope liners. My favorite part? The RSVP, on which I created a replica of the famous Citgo sign with the couples' initials and date.

The main pieces are printed on luxe crystal metallic paper, with curry yellow accents. All of the pieces tuck neatly into the tri-fold invitation, which is secured with a custom belly band. Everything then rests snugly in the inside envelope, which sits inside a larger mailing envelope. For the mailing envelope, I whipped up some fun square wrap-around labels.

I may have some exciting news to share about this design in a couple weeks, but for now, let's just sit back and enjoy the view.

Congratulations Courtney and Paul!
